"I am an environmental sculptor/painter and print maker and owner of 'The Arts Gallery'.

I am fascinated by my environment and thrive in places with a strong ‘natural sense of place’, which is probably why I am back on Dartmoor.
It is like a magnet to me. I love the moor: its unpredictability, its wild bleakness, its unexplainable stone monuments to an unfathomable past.

Lately I have been slightly obsessed with the form, design and pattern of labyrinths and mazes. They seem to seep into my work and take over. Like Dartmoor they are steeped in mystery and underlying intelligence, all combined with a deep respect for earth and nature.

I am inspired by growth cycles, skeletal structure, musical form and the spontaneity of dance."
